Review for Supershock Mascara!

Hey everyone, today I am going to be reviewing a product from Avon. This item I originally bought to try because it was on sale, two for 10 bucks or just one for 4.99. So the product today is SuperShock Mascara in black. If I'm not mistaken it only comes in black, but it might be available in brown too. I will be sure to double check that out and add it.

So, to be honest I've only ever used like... two mascaras so I might not have all that much experience when it comes to reviews. But this is the best one for those on a budget. My go-to mascara before was CoverGirl lash blast, but that was before I switched to cruelty free. As mentioned before I got this on a whim and instantly fell in love. Personally I have a lot of issues when trying out new products. My skin is sensitive and when trying to find the right mascara, my eyes tend to water.

What I love about this product is that I find you don't need that much at all. I tend to wear my makeup lightly so two swoops and I'm good. For a dramatic effect just throw on a little more and you're good to go. It makes my lashes fan out, and are dark as they can be. On some days I don't even use eyeliner, and just this mascara.

Anything else? Hmmm... I don't think so. I've only used like two types. But having tried out about a dozen and having had issues with em, i'm pretty sure this is a safe bet. So if you can snatch it up, I recommend that you give it a go.

If you try this mascara after reading my review, let me know what you think of it! Good or bad, I wanna know how it works for you :)

Skin Care Bootcamp!

Here are the steps that I use after having a cold or the flu to get my skin back on track. Personally my skin totally sucks after being sick, its dry and just really uncomfortable. But I've come up with a routine that helps me skin come back to life and make you feel great again.

Products that I used:
Neutrogena Foam Facial Cleanser
Mint Julep Mud Mask
The Body Shop Seaweed Exfoliate
Neutrogena Moisture Moisturizer

------------------------------- Here Are The Steps --------------------------------------

Step 1
Dab your skin with a warm water and a facecloth.

Step 2
Give your face a light scrub with the facecloth to wipe off the extra skin.

Step 3
Grab your facial cleanser and applicator if you use one.
Work cleanser into skin, especially really roughed up areas.

Step 4
After rinse, grab any facial mask (preferably a mud to unclog pores) and put it all over your skin. Or if only a spot treatment, wherever needed.

Step 5
After rinse, exfoliate all that released gunk off your face. This leaves your skin feeling smooth and polished.

Step 6
Pat dry your skin, this is better then rubbing it dry. Then finish off with a nice moisturizer and apply it where needed.

- And there you go. The six steps to getting your skin back on track after a cold. Hope you find this process useful and will use it and let me know how it works out for you. -

Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Palette Review

Okay, so to start off I was super excited when I finally got this in the mail. My fiance got it for me as a gift and shipped it to me, he knows how much I wanted it and given the circumstances I didn't have the funds to afford it. So how sweet is that? Anyhow, what I liked about this palette right away is that is has one row of natural colours  (Midnight Rodeo, Midnight 15, Vanilla, Flow, and Chase) I LOVE Midnight 15 for a highlighter in the corner of my eye.

So to continue on, when I saw this I literally squealed inside. I mean, I have never seen an item before and KNEW I had to have it. Especially for my first high end item. For those that know me, I shop makeup on a budget at the moment which can lead to awesome finds. However, when I saw this I knew it had to be mine. And I suppose my fiance knew that too.

Also, I heard that there were a lot of complaints about the packaging. I honestly do not see why. The metallic cover with the UD in a gem setting in the middle, the framing of the lid almost like vines. I mean, yeah chances are its prone to getting dirty. But the packaging doesn't determine the product itself and how it works. So to whoever sent it back, I think its there loss. Now on the inside where the product rests, the packing is similar to the lid except for the difference that instead of being metallic silver it is metallic purple. Which is LOVE.

ANYWAY, as mentioned this is my first urban decay product and let me put it to you this way..... HUZZAHHHHHH!!!!! This palette has amazing colour pay off, you don't need that much product at all. The colour range is awesome for those who like that natural appeal and good for those who like to play with a little colour. I did swatch a few colours but the images seemed to have disappeared, I think I deleted them by accident. But they are as they are represented on the packaging on the page where it shows the colours and the info.

So overall I think this product deserves a 10/10 & 6 out of 5 Gold Stars. Its more then I dreamed it would be, even with all the harsh reviews I wanted it to see for myself and it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. So if you have the opportunity to pick this bad boy up, DO IT! I promise you will not be disappointed.

HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY URBAN DECAY!!!!!

Upcoming Blogs and Looks

Sorry I haven't posted anything for the last few days, I've been sick with a cold. Which is why I haven't been doing any videos or anything. So, I figured I would take the time to update on what will be coming up ASAP on my blog. So, here I go.

I was peeking around the Urban Decay website since I got my 15 Year Anniversary Palette in the mail today and wanted to check out some look possibilities. So, I got this idea of doing a Urban Decay series of there looks using more affordable items because not everyone can afford em and still like the looks. (Review on the Palette is a planned video)

So anyway, I hope on starting the videos tomorrow. I've been in bed trying to get over this darn cold to get back to my videos. Which I hope you guys will like, and yeahhhh. I guess that's all I have to report today.

Stay Beautiful Inside and Out <3
